1 Day, 1 Dance, 1000 Dancers
The Dance Network Association's mass dance programme Let's Go, TOKYO! is being re-launched for 2021 with thanks to Essex 2020.
As we move back into schools and workplaces, we are so pleased to be able to dust off our hard work from this year and build towards a Summer of Dance 2021.
If you are a school or community group join us as we work towards celebrating the 'now' Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games for 2021. To hear from our school and community groups who have already signed up and been learning the choreography during 2020, join us free on our virtual Re-Launch date on Tuesday 10 November 2020 13:00 - 17:00.

So what is Let's Go, Tokyo! and why be involved:
Let's Go, Tokyo! is our mass dance programme aiming for 1000 dancers to be performing all in one space at the same time: '1 Day, 1Dance, 1000 Dancers'
The project offers groups of all ages and abilities a creative dance experience not usually available in school or community settings.
A choreographed mass dance piece designed to offer teachers, artists and dancers the opportunity to build confidence in the delivery of dance and performance.
An additional opportunity to perform en masse at during our own events in the Summer 2021
For a small fee, you can be part of this exciting programme, meeting other dance professionals in the education sector, gain support from The Dance Network Association and bring smiles and happiness to your groups.
The Dance Network Association is proud to be working with Essex based Co-Creators Sam Blayney and Lucy Blaheva, as well as partners at Essex Music Education Hub (Peter Lovell) University Centre Colchester (Phil Toms) who created a soundtrack specifically for the programme, dancers from Year 2 Level 3 Dance BTEC at Colchester Institute and finally Digital Media and Film degree students supported by Julien Mery.
Let's Go, TOKYO! is generously funded by Arts Council England, The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, Active Essex; Essex County Council. The Re-launch event is made possible with funding from Essex 2020, Essex County Council.
