WINTER DANCE CLUB

Winter programme 2024

Thanks to the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham Holiday Activity and Food Fund, we are running our FIRST EVER Winter Programme. 


We are running 4 days of dance activity in Barking and Dagenham for 5 - 11 year olds that are eligible for the programme (you can register your interest using the form at the bottom of this page).

 

Across the 4 days, each child will participate in: 

  • 13 hours of festively fun dance sessions

  • one well-being session

  • one nutrition session

  • two specialist dance sessions

  • daily craft sessions

  • a hot lunch each day

  • refreshments and snacks at break time each day

  • playtime with new friends

  • an informal sharing to parents/carers

 

Dates: 30 - 31 December 2024 and 02 - 03 January 2025

Times: 09:15 - 15:15

Venue: Dagenham Park School Leisure Centre, School Road, RM10 9QH

Eligibility
To receive a free space on this programme, you will need to ensure the following applies to you/your child/ward:

 

  • Your child (ren) /ward attends a school in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham 

  • Your child(ren)/ ward are in receipt of benefits-related free school meals (this does not include Universal free school meals) 

  • You can provide at least one piece of evidence of the following: 
    - Universal Credit (provided you have an annual net earned income of no more than £7,400, as assessed by earnings from up to three of your most recent assessment periods)
    - Income Support
    - Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
    - Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
    - Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
    - The guarantee element of Pension Credit
    - Child Tax Credit (provided you’re not also entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual gross income of no more than £16,190)
    - Working Tax Credit run-on – paid for four weeks after you stop qualifying for
    - Working Tax Credit

    Please complete the registration form below to register your child(ren)/ ward for a place on our programme.
    This form needs to be completed for each individual child.

In order to receive a free space on our programme, you are required to provide evidence of at least one of the following documents:


  • A letter from your local council stating that your child receives benefit related free school meals (this does not include Universal free school meals).
