DANCE TRAINING FOR TEACHERS AND ARTISTS #DTN

Our training courses offer teachers and freelancers the opportunity to develop their skills in dance. We offer a range of workshop days, conferences and twilight's to suit your needs, which can be found below: 

Learn, Share, MOVE! #LSM

Learn, Share, MOVE! offers high-quality teacher training programmes for both community and education teachers. These courses enable teachers across Essex county to develop and enhance their skills in a variety of styles and strategies. Attendees also get the opportunity to expand their support network with other like-minded teachers.

 

What's included? 

 

  • Workshops led by professional dance artists and peer learning from school teachers we have worked with over the past 7 years on the programme, sharing knowledge and skills. Friday 28 February 2020 Creative Dance Toolkit with Vicki Bisfield | Friday 1 May 2020 Encouraging Boys to Dance with Leon Hazlewood and Friday 26 June Using vocabulary to create dance with Cat Stiff from John Bunyan Primary School. ALL DAY sessions are 09:30 - 15:00 venue: John Bunyan Primary School, Braintree. 

  • Access to our 'en masse' creative dance and performance programme with the opportunity to perform at Essex Cricket Ground and other venues. This years programme is called Let's Go, TOKYO! - Training date Monday 23 March more information click here 

  • A celebratory performance event Wednesday 15 June 2020 where you will be invited to perform a school piece and the mass dance. 

  • A chance to meet and build relationships with teachers and artists in your area.
