Hannah Redfearn

Hannah is an independent dance artist now based in East London, however, she grew up in Essex, where she attended the Colne Community School and then went on to complete her A-Levels at Colchester Sixth Form College.


She went onto graduate from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance with a BA in Contemporary Dance in 2015. She has performed works by Lea Anderson, Alison-Curtis Jones, Amanda Gough and Zoe Dimitri. She also appears in the BBC Four Documentary 100 years of Contemporary Dance in a re-make of the 1980s work Smithereens by Lea Anderson.


Most recently Hannah has been performing with Flux Dance Collective in gallery spaces, festivals and art centers across the UK. Hannah has worked as the Youth Dance Company Director for Dance Network Association and as lead dance facilitator for Angelina Jandolo Dance and Stephanie Cook Dance School.


She has also been the support dance artist for Green Candle Dance Company and the Learning & Participation Programme at Laban. Hannah now works for London Contemporary Dance School, housed at The Place, as the Communications Co-ordinator.
