VACANCIES

Join our Board of Trustees

Dance Network Association (DNA) was founded in 2015 by Gemma Wright. Inspired by personal experience, Gemma saw first-hand the power of dance to bring joy, connection, and well-being. She recognised a gap in the dance sector - there was no dedicated ‘Dance for Health’ organisation in Essex that focused on the holistic benefits of movement.

We seek individuals to join our voluntary Board of Trustees at a crucial time in our development. Having evolved from a CIC to a charity in 2024, we are now ready to grow, and seek new trustees to help us support our ambitions. We would love to hear from people who represent the diverse communities with whom we work, and has interests, skills and knowledge which might include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Dance

  • Creative health and wellbeing

  • NHS, social care and health contexts

  • Physical activity

  • Financial planning and management

  • Fundraising and development

  • Legal

  • Marketing

  • Digital knowledge and innovation

  • Human resourcing

If you want to support and advocate for DNA, are open-minded, honest and have integrity, are committed to implementing governance, and can demonstrate a commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion and access, we want to hear from you!
