During the financial hardship COVID 19 has brought about, the Dance Network Association have been unable to deliver some of our largest events and projects during the Summer season, which means we have had a financial loss of over £40,000. This has had a detrimental effect on how the administrative and artistic team can operate as we are a project funded organisation, but unable to deliver projects in the same way we did before this pandemic.

Our directors Gemma and Lyann are doing all they can to encourage income streams and we were thrilled to receive a Culture Recovery Grant from Art Council England to support us to pay our core team until March 2021 and has enabled us to continue to stay as connected as possible to our current dancers.  We are now calling on your help to continue to support us beyond the emergency fund period as obviously delivering work to the community of Essex comes with a financial price tag as we have overheads and artists to pay.

With your support, we will be able to survive beyond March 2021 as most of our usual activities are currently still on hold due to Covid 19 and therefore we have no financial income stream.

We can’t wait to be there for you again in the flesh so please give whatever you can to help us carry on the work you’ve enjoyed over the past six years.
