These classes bring together people from all generations and walks of life.
Participants will share their stories and experiences whilst exploring the dance space, connecting with one another and moving creatively.
As well as dancing as a group, the individual dancer will develop their own strength, balance, coordination and encourage healthy physical development and preservation of the muscles and joints through taking part in the activity.
Intergenerational classes run once per month from 26 January 2022 in partnership with Colchester Castle Museum. As we are housed in the beautiful setting we could not forget making use of the artefacts; so watch out for your travel through time as we use items and themes as stimulus for movement!
Classes run between 11:00 - 12:30pm and include 45-60 minutes of dancing together and a social with refreshments.
Time 11:00 - 12:30
