Dance and Performance Club at Millfield's Primary School
DNA Dance and Performance Club is an exciting new after-school opportunity for children in Years 3–5 to move, create, perform and build confidence through dance. Delivered by Dance Network Association, the club offers young people the chance to explore creativity, teamwork and self-expression in a fun and supportive environment.
Across 7 weekly Thursday sessions, participants will work together to develop choreography and performance skills, leading towards a special outdoor performance on King George V Field as an opener to Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures Doorstep Duets.
The project is designed to inspire creativity, encourage confidence and give children the experience of being part of a professional-style performance event within their community.
Sessions take place Thursdays from 16:20–17:20 and are open to pupils from Millfield's and Broomgrove Schools.
Spaces are limited to 30 participants, so early booking is encouraged.
